As a freelance photographer in the northern New Jersey, Sean Hale has sought to create distinct, memorable images in the fields of sports, pin up, and cosplay photography. His work has been on ESPN, in the NY Daily News, NY Post, Huffington Post, and for a short time, on the side of the Barclay's Building just north of Time Square in NYC.

Sean is an official photographer for both the NYRC Women's WPL team and NY Sevens. In 2022, his photograph of Montclair State's go-ahead try won Photo of the Year ("Action" category) for The Rugby Journal's international competition. He also has shot for Rugby New York of Major League Rugby.

Prior to the pandemic, Sean spent over a decade photographing roller derby (where he earned the moniker "Hale Yeah"). He chronicled the sport at the highest levels, covering international playoffs and championships for Gotham Roller Derby, Philly Roller Derby, and the Kansas City Roller Warriors. He also was the team photographer for Team Brazil at all three Roller Derby World Cups (Toronto, Canada, in 2011, Dallas, USA, in '14, and Manchester, UK, in '18).

Sean is married to an amazing goddess named Lisa, and they have a greyhound named Shillelagh, who is probably sleeping on their couch as you read this.
